Welcome on the website of Αρχαι, a trans- and inter-disciplinary review.
What brings the authors in Αρχαι together is, before everything, their desire to understand basic principles beyond the complexity of this world. In that sense, Αρχαι uses a transdisciplinary approach, drawing its inventive itinerary between and, at the same time, through a scientific and an artistic questionning.
But Αρχαι makes also reference to existing disciplines. From an interdisciplinary point of view, the authors use the present disciplines – disciplines they analyse in order to find fundamental relationships and give, out of this process, an expression to the resulting «feeling of the shape».
Then, even before to be a review, Αρχαι is a project. The projet to bring the mind beyond the usual schemes that confine it and make people aware of the structure of the existence. A structure that can take many forms without leaving the constraints that give birth to it.
Αρχαι intents to show this approach as well in the content of its articles as in the layout of each of its individual issues.
